No longer turning a blind eye: innovative measures to prevent and counter transnational far-right extremism

Short biography

As Mercator Fellow, Michel Seibriger is exploring the potential for violence of transnational far-right actors in Europe and the US. In doing so, he is making the case that far-right extremism ought to be viewed not only as a domestic threat, but one that necessitates international coordination to develop innovative measures to prevent and counter it.
Michel has several years of professional experience working for the European Commission, the Think Tank European Council on Foreign Relations, POLITICO and Statista. He holds an MA in International Peace & Security from King’s College London and a BA in International Relations & International Organisation from University of Groningen.
