At the Mercator Kolleg, Toni Wölfl deals with demographic transition in industrialized countries on one hand and population growth in the Global South on the other hand. His intention is to connect administrations, exchange ideas and learn from each other. Since 2020 he has been a consultant for speeches at the Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs. Before that, he was an editor at the Passauer Neue Presse and a working student at Siemens. He worked as an intern at the Süddeutsche Zeitung, the German Press Agency in Washington, DC and the Bavarian Representative Office in Prague. He studied religious studies, politics and history in Munich, Vienna and Venice.
