As a Mercator Fellow, Rabir Zreig (he/him) focuses on political inequalities in West Asia. Previously, he worked in critical civic education and international cooperation. As a first-generation academic with an international background, he integrates global inequalities, intersectional feminisms, diversity, and postcolonial perspectives into his national and international work – aiming to build bridges between politics, civil society, and education for greater global justice. He studied Educational Science and Sociology (BA) in Potsdam and Sweden, International Social Work (MA) in Erfurt and Uganda, and International Cooperation in Berlin and India.
