Priya Mohanty

As a Mercator Fellow, Priya challenges urban narratives rooted in colonial structures and power imbalances, which are perpetuated through international cooperation. In her project, she explores approaches to co-producing alternative urban futures envisioned by city dwellers and investigates how they can reach the prevailing discourse. Priya holds an M.Sc. in Development Studies from SOAS, University of London and a B.A. in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen.
