During the Mercator Fellowship, Pamela Skowron-Mrówka is working on representation and substantive inclusion in political decision-making processes. She is investigating how peace and transformation processes can be shaped inclusively and which interdisciplinary approaches and mechanisms can sustainably strengthen the participation of (local) women in peace processes. Pamela completed her Master’s degree in International Studies/ Peace and Conflict Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main and Sciences Po Lyon. She specialized on International Peace, Conflict and Security Studies as well as Gender. She acquired work experience at the German Association for International Cooperation (GIZ), the Development Bank KfW and in the field of political communication.
