Manuel Widmann holds a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.A. in East Asian Economy & Society from the University of Vienna. Throughout his studies, he conducted exchange semesters to Beijing and Taipei, focusing on Chinese language. Manuel gained work experience in multinational companies, NGOs, Think Tanks and government affairs. During his year as a Mercator Fellow, Manuel will focus on the EU’s Global Gateway Strategy and mutually beneficial cooperation with other viable partners across the world.
