As a Mercator Fellow, Lucie Haupenthal focuses on current and future scenarios of EU-NATO cooperation taking military and political perspectives into account. She gained professional experience at the German Embassy in Budapest, the German Development Institute, the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation and the EU Delegation to the United States. Lucie obtained her bachelor's degree in Politics and Public Administration from the University of Constance and the University of Stockholm. She completed the international "Euromasters" program in Bath, Chapel Hill and Berlin with a specialization in transatlantic security politics.
