As a Mercator Fellow, Julia Amtmann investigates the potential of digitization as an opportunity to reduce youth unemployment among young women. She aims to develop holistic solutions based on political, economic, and legal factors, with a focus on promoting mobility through Europe-wide exchange programs for young workers. Julia has gained work experience in Munich, Cambridge, and Thailand at various organizations such as the pan-European party Volt, the Center for Science and Policy, Schule im Aufbruch, and Amnesty International. She holds a Master’s degree in Responsibility in Science, Engineering, and Technology from the Technical University of Munich.
