Psychology in international climate policy – Practically shaping cooperation and justice

Short biography

Janna Hoppmann applies psychological expertise to strengthen cooperation and justice in international climate policy. She designs strategic spaces where decision-makers and frontline communities jointly work on solutions – especially on Loss and Damage. Her goal: to foster community well-being, reduce power asymmetries, and leverage psychology for more effective global collaboration.

After completing her MSc in Psychology, she founded ClimateMind – the psychological academy for climate and biodiversity. As a trainer, speaker and consultant, she has empowered over 4,500 leaders to increase their sustainability impact.
