Short biography

During the Mercator Fellowship, Hoang Tran Hieu Hanh analysed the adverse effects of climate change on migration and displacement with the aim to reduce the vulnerability of affected communities and enhance their resilience to adapt and respond to a changing climate. She holds a Master’s degree in International Relations of Free University of Berlin, Humboldt University of Berlin, University of Potsdam. Currently, she is working at IOM on the links between human im/mobility, COVID-19, climate change adaptation and urbanisation.
