Year: Year 2019
Project Title: China, Europe and the question of political values
As a Mercator Fellow, Gabriel Pelloquin examines the relationship between China and the European Union. Due to China’s rapid rise, he is interested in its consequences and implications for the European Institutions and their political strength and common values embedded in the conflicting priorities of bilateral and multilateral approaches. Gabriel studied Philosophy and History in Freiburg, Montpellier and Heidelberg. He gained professional experience as a supply teacher in the support and integration of children with special needs and in the editorial office of a journal for contemporary literature.
