As a Mercator Fellow, Fabian Keske is exploring the linkages between rule of law and natural resource governance. He is particularly interested in how justice can be strengthened in fragile contexts. Prior to the fellowship, Fabian worked at the German Federal Foreign Office on conflict prevention, stabilisation and peacebuilding as well as on the nexus between climate change, peace and security. He gained additional professional experience at the International Carbon Action Partnership and the German Ministry of the Environment. Fabian studied law and political science in Paris and Munich with an interdisciplinary focus on environmental law and policy.
