As a Mercator Fellow, Dorothee Nussbruch aims to explore how public private partnerships can unlock local capacities in humanitarian aid and disaster risk reduction. Dorothee holds a B.Sc. in Geography from Bonn University and a M.Sc. in Geography of Environmental Risks and Human Security from the United Nations University and Bonn University. Her passions include disaster risk reduction, climate change adaptation, and humanitarian aid. Dorothee has gained professional work experiences at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific working for the Disaster Risk Reduction section in Bangkok as well as the Disaster Management Section of Deutsche Post DHL in Bonn.
