As a Mercator Fellow, Constantin Bremer is looking into how forms of organizing and business models from the commons-based economy can help build a sustainable, fair, and resilient Europe. His focus is on identifying the potentials and needs of a commons-based economy in order to strengthen its position in society. In doing so, he draws on insights from his PhD research in Gothenburg on new and alternative forms of organizing. Constantin previously studied business administration in Mannheim, Saint Petersburg, Copenhagen, and Madison. He also worked in an academic start-up incubator and in management consulting.
