As a Mercator Fellow, Baptiste Michellod explores the topic of transboundary water cooperation. He is particularly interested in cross-border approaches that reconcile climate resiliency, sustainable water use and inclusive development. Baptiste completed volunteering projects in Iran and Kazakhstan, worked in an investment advisory firm in Berlin and gained substantial experience in multi- and bilateral cooperation at the Swiss State Secretariat for the Economy (SECO) in Bern. He holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Hertie School in Berlin, and a Bachelor’s in International Relations from the University of Geneva.
