Alina Pucko is dedicating her fellowship to exploring digital methods for investigating human rights violations. She will focus on leveraging open-source investigations (OSINT) in strategic litigation through evidence-building, particularly in challenges to arms exports. She is also interested in OSINT’s potential to investigate violations in real-time, bypassing traditional journalism’s limitations, and its power to craft visual narratives that counter dehumanization.
Alina studied law at Humboldt University and earned an LL.M. at Columbia Law School. She has worked at the ICC, Human Rights Watch, and most recently, ECCHR, where she worked on strategic litigation against arms exports.
