As a Mercator Fellow, Luisa Kern investigates the role of children born of conflict-related sexual violence in post-conflict reconciliation processes. She is involved in advocacy work in regard to youth- as well as women, peace, and security and has previously gained work experience in peacebuilding NGOs and foreign policy think tanks. Luisa is the EU’s youth delegate for the G20, representing the peacebuilding track. She has studied International Security Policy and Conflict Resolution in Paris and New York for her graduate degree and Political Science as an undergrad in Berlin and Nancy.
