As a Mercator Fellow, Hayam Mohseni investigates the question of how international actors can better base their engagement in fragile and conflict-affected contexts on existing evidence. She is particularly interested in how research can lead to strategic adaptation. Hayam gained professional experience in this field at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Previously, she completed an M.Sc. in International Relations at the London School of Economics and Political Science, an M.A. in International Security at Sciences Po Paris, and a B.A. in Political Science at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich and Seoul.
